    Hi all!

I posted a thread with my first impression review of the iPhone X with plenty of pictures showing the device and how apps appear in real world use. Please visit it here

Review of TOZO Glass Ultra Thin Tempered

This was the first glass I purchased and arrived early for the iPhone X.

    Amazon: http://a.co/17EmkBl
    Price: $8.99

I ordered this product because of the price point and you get 2 glass covers. I have never used TOZO products before on any device.

AVOID THIS GLASS LIKE THE PLAGUE...

The glass comes with a black trim and plenty of guides to help align everything nicely. It comes with 2 cloths, 2 screen cleaners, and 2 sets of guide stickers and dust absorb stickers. They also include a bumper looking thing that is cheap and didn't help when I tried using it for placing 1 glass down.

    The package:

Everything came nice and organized. Impressed by what was included.

    Application:

Applying the glass was easy. I feel like this might be the one time I can say the notch was very helpful (I don't even hate the notch tbh)! I used the notch to help align the glass and set it down. A simple press in the middle and its on.

    Look and Feel:

This is where the product lost me. After applying the glass and holding the device in my hand, I could feel that black trim around every edge. Like the glass isn't shaped well to fit around the curves. It was so bad that I removed it right away and gave it one more go. After the second attempt, I realized that it was a fundamental flaw in the design of the product.

    Verdict:

As stated above, I'd dodge this product. They had the right idea and intention but horrible execution. Save yourself the $8.99 and put it towards a glass that is worth the $$$. TOZO Glass for iPhone X surely is not worth the money.

Glad to know this. I bought one and hadn't put it on my IPX yet. Now I won't!

Send it back...unless they also try to charge you 50% of the price to ship it back. You can always claim it as defective...I would but I tossed mine out of pure suckage.

I only paid $1 for mine so it make sense for me to keep mine.

Agreed, this screen protector really doesn’t fit the curve of the notch properly. Considering taking mine of as well and find a better alternative.

Could someone please let me know if they find one that does fit the shape properly?

    Thanks

It’s not possible. That’s why I avoid those full coverage screen protectors and just go with ones that cover the useable part of the screen, like the Belkin at the Apple store.

I installed the Zagg Glass+ on my X and it's 100% perfect unlike my iPhone 7 that always had a slight air gap on the right side for some unknown reason.

I have the standard TOZO tempered glass screen protector and its very good. From what I've seen the ones with the edges not so much though...

Ideally I want one with the edge as I think they look better personally but I am struggling to find one that fits properly.

It's expensive, but I got the Belkin one at the Apple store and had them install it. Painless process and the protector itself is great quality.
