Currently Xfinity is the best way to beat the Apple line. They deliver much quicker than Apples official line.
Nice! I’m actually gonna pay less with them vs. AT&T because I’m on WiFi 95% of the time. I pay $91/mo with AT&T, if I can limit data to 1 GB, I’ll be paying less than $60 even with a more expensive phone.

FYI: Cellular iPad Mini with buds + mic, xfinity app for voice calls & simple texting (Messages for all other texting), AT&T prepaid data-only 2GB or 3 months for $25. Since I too am only wifi almost all of the time, I find that I don't even need to renew every 3 months. Total "cellular" bill for a year of service is tracking between about $50-$75 for me.
I don't feel like I'm missing much. Yes, the mini doesn't fit in a pocket but tucks under an arm easy enough and fits inside suit pockets (or in the laptop bag) just fine.
While a "not for everyone" alternative, there is a LOT of cost savings in this option, can still make & receive calls, can still text, can still use cellular data for apps, etc. And I like the modestly bigger screen and bigger keyboard.
"Less than $60" is great for that network but- say- $55 times 12 months = $660 vs. the $50-$75 of this option (using xfnitity hotspots (or any free wifi) for wifi and AT&T for cellular). If I had to have cellular year round, it's $100. One can buy some good stuff with that other $560+ each year. For those that care about $500/yr enough to roll with a few differences, it's a great alternative without many compromises.

Xfinity internet is a requirement to get mobile per their site. They arent giving away $45 unlimited plans to everyone without locking you in elsewhere.

Im still a renter so that was my problem, that could change year to year.
And realistically with my corporate discount my 6gb ATT plan (they doubled my 3gb plan, more data than I ever use) is only $53.80 before taxes/phone. Lotta switching to save $8.80/month.
Mine came at 4:17, right after I ordered. Still says I’m getting it on launch day tho. Don’t think anyone could complete an order til after 4 because the site was messed up.

I went to the store at 8 AM this morning. Wanted to give my friend credit for the sale, I was in and out in 10 minutes ordered the silver 64 X. I knew by the time I went through this morning I wouldn't get the phone in 10 days, but I got an email confirmation saying that I would get a shipping notification around November 17. That's only three weeks from today.
Yeah, I was already an Xfinity customer, so the $200 was the best I could do....and I'll take it!!!
Gotcha. The website was working for me all the way til the last step then it was just stuck, but I have a bunch of holds on my card from attempting to submit it lol. Is yours coming on launch day?

Correction: when I installed the Xfinity mobile app on my phone, it said that my phone would be delivered November 17. Three weeks from order date.
