iPhone XL is coming 2018

Yes! Holding all my horses for the 2018 iPhone X Plus 256/512 GB! 
But? I don't like the fact that for the iPhone X, it is mandatory to do actions to see the % charged battery! Why Apple?

I'm torn between wanting the extra screen vs not jumping back into phablet mode again. I loved my 7+, but the X just feels so right.
Almost wishes Apple released a 5.2 and 6.0, instead of 5.8 and 6.4.
5.2 will put the X between SE and 8, and 6.0 will put the X+ between 8 and 8+.

Thats How I feel. I always get that I want to try the new device syndrome. After 6+ fiasco I decided that it still didnt replace my iPad and my love for the iPad so....
Friend of mine sticks by his 7 and iPad Pro 10.5, and adamantly against Plus.

There comes a point (for me anyways), that the phone starts to get too big.
Messed around with the note 8 for a while, don’t get me wrong, it’s a great device, but that thing is HUGE. even my 7 Plus turns out to be a little to big for me as well.
The X hits they perfect sweet spot for me. I’ll stick with the X when it comes in , I’d doubt i would jump on an XL
You sound like me...before I jumped from 6 to 7+. It wasn't that hard of a transition, and definitely worth the effort.
Having said that, I agree that X size is perfect.

How I wish this was this year’s lineup. The 10 simply feels too small coming from a 7+. This aspect ratio makes videos and photos look terrible for such a big screen already. Can hardly wait for next year’s iterations.

I'm loving my x but yes the 6.4 inch screen will be impressive. battery life is amazing on the x so i'm sure will be even more of a beast on the bigger model

I feel the same way. The X was a size compromise. They should've made a larger model and a smaller model. While there are certainly some that think the X is the prefect size as is, many others would prefer something smaller or larger if given the choice.
The XL will have to have godly specs for me to trade my X in

Hoping iOS gets a new revamp and just copy the webOS/QNX UI with all its swipe gestures.
Same static, grid icon forever ever? Can't even move certain apps anywhere or hide them. Apps need to be there to obscure the wallpaper. I expect the hardware upgrades from the next iPhones but its iOS getting a different look.
With the way iOS evolves, might take until iOS13 for it to happen. 2019, iOS revamp.

The term XL is used because there is no definitive name for the 'iPhone X Plus in 2018'. Not sure what else you would be expecting, which is why others have their own anecdotal name until next year.
No surprise here. I'll evaluate next years phones next year. Not sure I want to go larger though.
