But you wouldn’t want to get them anyway unless you are fine with 64GB. At the same storage size, the iPhone 13 is only $50 more.

I am totally fine with 64GB, currently using 34GB and still having 30GB free. 🖐

That sounds like a good deal - still available? The 13 mini is nearly identical.
No, but apparently it ran for months largely unnoticed. No fine print (forcing you to upgrade to AT&T unlimited, for example). By the time I found it the only color left was hot pink. With a thin black case it could be a lot worse...

I think it’s already well known that every new iPhone doesn’t target the previous gen users, but targets those using 2, 3, or even older generation iPhones. Those using an iPhone X or 7 will see a huge upgrade.
Well guess what… I see the downgrade of losing touch ID. Really sitting on the fence if I should hold on to my 7+ yet another year 🙄

Has anybody seen a list of trade in values? My wife is upgrading to a 13 Pro from an old XS Max but we also will be adding a new phone line. I'm debating if we trade in the XS Max and buy a new 11 or just keep the XS Max. Thanks

The 11 is a good deal now, and it’s only $100 more than the SE for a modern design and much better battery life.

I do agree that Apple keeping the AW S3 is just Apple being greedy not willing to reduce the SE price.

The iPhone SE 2020 on all prepaid carriers is $149-$199 and has been for years. It’s the best deal on the market, cannot beat A13 Bionic for $149 in an Apple device. It’s also why the SE was the #2 selling smartphone last year, over 25 million units sold.

The SE is just about perfect for those who like a smaller phone, Touch ID and more cash in their pockets.

100% Agree.

He’s not very bright…
But lucky he can still return it.

Shame really because it's quite the beauty.
yeah, it’s a really nice shade of blue. The Sierra Blue doesn’t look bad either.

iPhone 12 now costs $50 less than iPhone 13. Who would to stupid enough to buy an inferior iPhone 12 just to save 50 bucks?
Maybe it’s just to get rid of inventory and by Christmas they’ll all be gone. Also another chance for people who like the purple 12 and 12 mini to get that color before it’s gone (no purple 13).

The iPhone 11 is the new XR.

Here in Europe Apple completely screwing us with the pricing this year.

the $999 iPhone 13 model -

$1356 in Germany (1149 euro) - 35.7% more
$1403 in Italy (1189 euro) - 40.4% more

It's even worse at the low end - the $399 SE model

$565 in Germany (479 euro) - 41.6% over
$589 in Italy (499 euro) - 47.6% over

Yes, I know European prices include taxes, but for Germany it's only VAT of 19%, why is it 35-40% over the US price 😠 😠
And even worse in Italy close to 50% more 😠

Those are probably locked phones. It’s hard to compare special carrier deals, so when comparing prices, I would use the face value that Apple is selling.

The TouchID “advantage” is an outlier due to the pandemic. The 7+ is a good phone (I have one), but I can see its age already (easily overheats, meh battery life when in use, aging camera quality). Even mid range Androids now take better photos than the my 7+.

My XR had a good life, and still works today. I do think 3 years on it's time for an upgrade. I remember when it was advertised so much and it seemed like so many people were buying one. I come on here and feel like I'm in a minority in still owning the XR. It was a good phone.

Believe me, I am painfully aware of that. Every year I want to upgrade and every year I am underwhelmed by the new iPhone version. But I will have to give in soon. If only they made a bigger SE…

The XR is an excellent phone. All you need is probably just to replace the battery, and it will be good for another year or two. In fact, I’ll be looking if Apple will be selling the XR at a steep discount in my country.

Modern Phones performance are already good enough. I’m seeing people upgrading only if their phone broke, they run out of storage, or their battery is dead. I don’t think people with any flagship phones of recent years are upgrading due to performance. The XR has a flagship chip, the same as the Xs.

Yeah I could probably keep it for another year, but I do want to change, and I still think my Car Play issues is more of an Apple thing rather than a Honda thing. I can't afford Maps to crash the system every so often. Also I do miss touch ID.

The 128GB base storage of the 13 made the iPhone 12 looks like the worst deal ever. 128GB iPhone 13 is only $50 more than 128GB iPhone 12. Great job Apple at nudging everyone to just buy the 13.

For once, Apple made the buying decision quite easy despite the lineup.

It is the same play they did when they move from 32 to 64. But yes I think the iPhone 11 is pretty damn good vale.

PWM sensitivity sufferer here.

Excited that my upgrade path from the XR now starts with the $499 iPhone 11.

Though it ends there too! 😭

Dropping by to say I think I will finally be upgrading from my original iPhone SE 2016. Still works perfectly well, just tired of hearing people ask ‘whoa is that a 4S’?
