Hello my Gf dropped her Iphone XR and has several cracks on the screen , the iphone is out of AC , I think is expensive to replace at apple store , but I am afraid that repair shops will install not an original screen , also Iphone is 2 years and half with 92% battery , any advices ??? Yes you’ll likely get a non-Apple screen if the phone is repaired by a non Apple repair shop.

Choices:
  1. Have Apple replace it and pay the price. Screen will look perfect.
  2. Have a 3rd party repair shop replace it with a non Apple screen for less cost and it likely won’t look as nice as the original
  3. Do nothing and use it with the cracks

You'll get a 3rd party display. How will that look, it depends on the quality of display. Iw would suggest just quoting any Apple.

Thank you ! It can be less expensive than 200+ pounds without AC as I saw on website ? It expired 3 months ago 🙂)

I would want a original screen... or something at least approved by apple , I will wait to go to apple ...
