Super excited to recieve my iPhone Xr this week and was wondering what do you guys think we can expect the retail packaging of the XR to look like? Do you think we could see the transparent boxes like we saw with the iPod touch and iPhone 5c or will it be the usual white box with the iPhone picture on the front, let me know what you think, and what would you like the iPhone Xr retail packaging to look like?

I use clear cases specifically so that I can still appreciate the design and color of my phone.

I get that logic, though the screen is on the front that you would be staring at nearly all of the time.

Also, which clear cases aren't tacky? I'd love to see one. The Spigen possibly?

Define tacky. As in, "that looks tacky" or "this has a tacky/sticky feeling in my hand?"

aren't you going to cover the back of the phone up anyway? lol

People keep saying this.
Clear cases? That's what I'll be using.

I'm not sure I'd call a clear case tacky, but then if you're someone who spends £50+ on a leather case then you may feel entitled to that opinion?

Okay...which one?

Okay...which one?

I have no idea yet, I will be scouring Amazon tonight.
Why it matters on the specific though I don't actually know... clear case is a clear case?
I just want it to be hard plastic and clear, so it could be anywhere from 10p to £10 for all I care.

The durability, thickness, scratching and all that shows up as opposed to a non clear is why I ask.

Oh I could not agree more re scratching and the marks that show up. They get beat up so fast.
And that's what I'll get for buying cheap. :p
They do tend to protect quite well though from experience.

However no one seems to make a slightly more 'premium' clear case haha otherwise I'd consider it.

Maybe Apple's official clear case will be better?

I've never seen a clear case by Apple. I'd try a Spigen though...I've heard good things about them.
Their pricing is low too.
