In the first pictures it very much looked like a screen protector at the top right of the screen, however there was no evidence of a screen protector around the notch. The last picture clearly shows no screen protector - the phone looks great.
I’m not sure I’d be that bothered if the only time I saw some distortion was from a reflection. Is the glass noticeably distorted if you look at it side on from the right side?

Even without the poorly aligned top right corner, it's obvious when you look at the earpiece speaker. That's a screen protector. Either you're lying about it, or someone put one on your phone before or after you received it and you don't know the difference.

There is no screen protector, there is a soft bezel (in the display glass) and a hard bezel (outside the glass) and that's what makes it look like a screen protector.

There’s definitely a screen protector on it.
Well every phone can look different under different lighting. Have you looked at it under normal lighting too see if there is an issue?

Under normal lighting it looks fine, but where I have my desk I have a window and blinds so when looking at my phone from my desk I can see distortions from the blinds in the background

Yea I’m sure. You may say it doesn’t have one but looking at the earpiece/speaker you can definitely tell you have a screen protector on.

Does it feel uneven when you touch it? And do things onscreen get distorted or it's just reflections?

It's not a mirror... LOL Could just be the oleophobic coating.

Look at the other photo I just posted, it’s not a screen protector, I don’t know how many times I have to say there is no screen protector on the phone.

there is no screen protector. the curtain reflection made it look like there is.

it looks there there is a slight bump at the region you circled. does it distort viewing? how about at different angles? can you feel the bump?

i think you can go back to the apple store, but not sure if they have any for exchange right now

Thanks for your reply, it’s hard to describe really, it’s really strange how it distorts in that area, I’ll send it back if I have to never have any problems returning phones to Apple

Who cares if a reflection on the glass looks distorted. Are the images on your actual display affected? If not, then ?

The images are find, just the reflections, I just like my iphones perfect but I might just keep it because like you say the display is not affected

Just because you posted another photo doesn’t mean you couldn’t have pulled off the screen protector.

Because Apple is the only one that sells them right? Does Sprint not sell them?

Sprint does sell them, after they are distributed to them from Apple. When we get them we have a very nice policy that they are not to be manipulated or dispersed until launch day. Makes sense why you've yet to verify your claims.
