on mine, there is a distortion on the glass in the same place as op’s phone. luckily it only affects reflections, the screen itself is fine. or rather, the ”problem” isn’t perceptible.

I mean, watch a video and see if it distorts in that same area.

I just received mine and the screen is beautiful and not distorted. I do notice that the edge of the screen on the XR are slightly rounded down towards the edge where it might look like a screen protector. It does distort the light somewhat. It still doesn't look anything like the OP's though.

Lol I just looked at reflections in my iPhone 8 Plus display and saw a bit of distortion. Then I remembered I have a display protector on. Doh! 😕😀

recieved my iPhone XR and I absolutely love it however when inspecting my phone under light I can see that the display glass is not even as can be seen in the photos, where you see the lines of the blinds in the reflection you can notice that the glass looks uneven, is this normal? Anyone else have this?

No because he had a screen protector on his phone. You can clearly see it in the photo that remains on the front page. Around the ear piece and clearly how the screen bezel is not all one color but two colors why... because of the screen protector. Lol. It should all be black - all the way around. Not half black half gray.

It's a **** post. Needs to go to the wasteland.

That’s what I’m saying. The earpiece is a dead giveaway that there is a protector on it. But he’ll deny it.
