iPhone XR Users Experiencing Difficulties on UK's O2 Network

Yep, try to put a positive spin on yet another Apple screwup....

Is it really a “screwup” whenever anything is not perfect? They’ve sold more than 2 billion phones, you would assume some hiccups during the way..

This is quite strange. Aren't the radios in the XR and the iPhone XS(for example) the same? I wonder what is causing this as its only affecting one specific model and one specific carrier.

I’ve been having terrible reception on my Xs Max with O2 ever since I started using it back in September. Not that Vodafone was much better. And coverage in my area (Cambridge) is supposed to be good.

I have many fewer problems with the same phone in the US, with Sprint.

So my guess is it’s the provider.

Is this still going on? I have an 11 pro max on O2 and this morning I haven’t been able to make or receive calls. It just keeps disconnecting.

Sounds like a different problem. Not sure if the original issue is fixed yet.
