At this point in the game, I think it’s real. (I hope it’s real) For 1. the person would be of the extremely lame-type to photoshop a device that’s going to be available in a month’s time for a little extra attention. 2. Production has ramped up. It’s likely someone, somewhere is testing this in the field or using one as a daily.

It looks like the notch was shopped into the picture, particularly in the second one.

Who knows, there isn’t any reason that it wouldn’t be real, the phone has already been announced.

There's been posts on reddit of them in the wild. After the announcement, I believe the testers/employees are able to take them out in the open. Whether or not this picture is legit though, I dunno.

Does it really matter though? We already know everything about the phone - it would be a much bigger deal if this photo was taken/seen before the announcement.

looking at the images i'd say im 80% sure it photoshopped.

the notch just not look right especially in photo 2

I’m wondering why the second and third picture has the text blurred. If someone really got a distance picture, why would they need to blurr the picture. So I voted photoshopped.

There have already been a few spotted in the wild with short videos as proof so don't see a reason for this to be faked. At this point I think it's just random Apple employees with units. Since it has been revealed already they are probably allowed to show it off in public

I’m in the “who cares” camp. Apple have announced the thing, we know everything about it, we know some people must have them now and we know lots of people will have them in a couple of months. Does this person have one, maybe, maybe not, what difference does it make.

It's fake, if you use the same technique that Macrumors did with the fake Apple TV that someone photoshopped an Apple logo onto a block of metal, you can tell that the edges of the phone are very rigid and pixelated.

Obviously it's real, if it's on the internet, it's gotta be real. Duh...
[doublepost=1506703454][/doublepost]Actually at this point, I'm sure there are several out there testing the X. Could be real deal.

Where'd you get the pic?
[doublepost=1506715342][/doublepost]Pretty obviously photoshopped. Look at the top edge in the 2nd and 3rd picture. Easy to see the shoddy cropping work.

Someone posted it on reddit, not sure where they got it
