Death Grip Call Drops / Earbud incompatibility / Theathering
Just got my Blk, 28 week build, 4.1 firmware UG, 32G iphone4 today and I've had very eratic signal strength and several dropped calls. Additionally, when I plugged in my Altec buds w/mic and pause/Shuffle & ans. button/ button I hear a clicking noise in the earbud while making calls and the people who I'm calling can't hear me. Also, the ans./shuffle &. pause button works like a box of chocolates: you never know what function, if any, the iphone4 will engage from the double or single clicking you do on the in-line button. Same inconsistency when listening to music an using the button on the Altec. The one button call answer works on the Altec. But again, callers can't hear me.
The Ultimate Ears 10vi buds I have (less one bud that pulled off) works but they are obscenely expensive and with very cheap wire gage since logitech bought them.
Theathering?? Fegettabout it! unless you got warp power signal strength ( from ATT? bwahahaha), it is turtle racing slow .03 Mb/s.
Went to the Apple store and just heard them blame the bud mfg an ATT.
Hey I know every unit and every roll-out cant be trouble free but $45/month for Teathering at 1983 speeds, gyrating signal swings an dropped calls is a rip-off.
I'm debating keeping the phone till Zibri / Quickpawn/ Dev Team come to the rescue with an unlock/jailbreak. Unlocked my 1st gen to Tmo and LOVE it.
Yo, StevoJobo. we're getting killed out here with politicians sticking it to us and stagnant or lower wages. Stop putting out untested stuff and making us suck it in and DUMP ATT!!
