I believe it's an "umm, what's with the incorrect use of "don't" in a sentence when you're giving us a thesis on someone else using incorrect English?"

"Informal writing don't have to be illiterate."

It should read: "Informal writing doesn't (or does not) have to be illiterate."

Yes, it's umm, "Informal writing don't have to be illiterate." is a malformed sentence.

Whenever I make a comment on spelling, syntax etc, be it on irc or in a forum, I always double and triple check what I write. I rarely indulge in it, but when I do, I damn well better be correct!! 🙂 🙂 (I don't think I made an error here).
