Verizon appears on your credit report? Because other cell companies don't... unless you don't pay them and you go to collections. :)

About 10 years ago I went to get a Verizon phone and they wanted me to pay $400 or so as a deposit to get their phone. I then tried Cellular One (now AT&T) and didn't need a deposit so I went with them. I have been happy with them.

I was 20 when I bought my first iphone under my name and added 2 more lines... $0 deposit... but my credit score is in the upper mid 700's...

I'm 18 and I share a family plan with my 15 year old sister. She has a 1st gen and I have a 2nd gen. It's under my dad's name because his company gets a discount so I don't exactly know what the deal is with owning your own contract, etc.
