LOL. Yes, Apple will use its sovereign power as a legal political entity to charge him a huge fine. Then Apple will arrest him and place him in an Apple jail cell (all perfectly legal!) You people are hilarious.

Fine him, as in to fix the device, not because he used the beta...

Ill never understand the mentality of "I'm glad you bricked your iPod" The OP was asking for help as he or she installed an ipsw that yes, true it wasn't meant for anyone other than devs and was subsequently having problems. The OP (who may have ios 6 legitimately) was simply trying to rectify the mistake and thus asking for help and gets supercilious replies essentially offering nothing constructive at all.

To the OP an iTunes error 3194 is usually to do with your hosts file. I assume you've been using tinyumbrella to cache your SHSH blobs? It edits your hosts file and you can experience this error if you haven't the correct options set. Google fix iTunes 3194 error and there are a myriad of different tuts how to fix this. Then simply a matter of DFU and restoring to the latest public iOS release (currently 5.1.1)

iOS 6 is not a public beta so I'm glad you bricked your iPod. As a licensed developer I get all of my beta updates with no problems. If you want early access all you have to do is pay $100 a year - which sure beats you having to go buy a new iPod since the store wont help you either. Maybe the expenses will teach you a lesson in not stealing.

What he said.

Now there are 2 things you can do

A: Take the safe route and live with it.

B: Take it to an apple store. If you do this, there is a chance they will see you are not an actual developer and either refuse to help you, or fine you a large sum of money.

LOL really? You people need to get a grip. Developers you paid $99 to join the developer program you weren't jumped into the mob. relax. I bet you were the kids in high school that took the hall monitor job way to seriously. I think you care more then apple does.

I'm sure you can prove the OP has pirated iOS 6 Beta 1, so please show us.
All we can know is that the OP is having problems with iOS 6 Beta 1, and nowhere it's stated that he pirated it. Even so, you should have reported the thread, instead of going off topic, as no one needs anything from you, dear random internet user.
Great help you're offering too. But don't worry, when you'll have problems, maybe some part of the community will remember this.

OP: DFU and restore. Should defenitely work.
