Yikes, this turned out to be a nearly complete waste of $25.
Where to begin? The "static cover" for the back of the iPod is just a piece of thin plastic. It has no "static" qualities whatsoever. They put a pair of labels on it, one on each side, telling you which is the "static" side. There is no "static" side, and the labels won't come off although they are supposed to, so you end up tearing them both off and making a sticky mess, which then transfers to the back of your iPod. Dumbest, most useless thing I've ever seen.
As soon as I got the case on, I found out that I could no longer use my Ten Technology car adapter. The case is way too thick on the bottom. A deal breaker.
They also give you a little round translucent label to put over your click wheel. It's not quite transparent, so it looks like crap on your click wheel.
The only good part of the whole package is the Universal Dock adapter, which holds your iPod tightly in the dock, provides a cut-out for the low click wheel on this iPod, and still allows me to use my 2G Nano in the dock.
The only reason I don't send it back is that I plan to buy my daughter an iPod this Xmas, and maybe she can use this case, as she has no car adapter.
If you're looking for a case for your iPod 3G Nano, keep looking. This isn't the one.
