iPod nano Photos (+iPod nano [Thread merge])

i played with one at the apple store... many those things are tiny..... i like the black one myself, its so sleek and tiny. I wish the screen and the scroll wheel were a bit bigger but other then that.... i think apple did it again...

Yeah I love my 1st Gen Mini even though it is outdated and "old". I think that the colors (Green, Blue, Silver, Pink) are better than just White and Black. Plus the click wheel on the Nano looks too small.

Kind of weird, I checked the UK education store, and they have the Nano Tubes @ 2-3 weeks and the Nano Dock @ 1-2 weeks.

But in the regular UK store they both say 4-5 weeks.

The reason cool extra's like the Nano Tubes come so much later is probably that Apple won't risk putting them into production at an outside facility until AFTER the product has been unveiled. Too high a risk of a leak. Imagine what TS would do if they got a hold of a Nano Tube a couple of weeks prior to the product launch.

Yes - everything in that pic came out of the box.

From left to right in that pic are:
earpiece covers
iPod nano dock adaptor
earpieces
USB2.0 cable
CD sitting on manuals / warranties.

the standard two white apple stickers are sitting above them on the left side of the box... and my beautiful new baby nestled there where she came from.

Apparently not.
So you can't plug it into a television to view photos.
Photos can only be viewed on the actual iPod nano.

Oh... that sucks. does it offer s-video through the dock adapter and iPod dock?
 
Well I have been a very good girl this weekend and totally resisted the urge to pop into the Regent Street store to pick one up.

that white nano would fit in my handbag a lot more easily though...

I even had a friend call me and tell me that the Annapolis store now has them.

I have still resisted. I am powerful. 😀

Go to the store you must. In your hands a dark nano you will hold. Buy one then you will not. Only then powerful will you be.

iGary, Just make sure when you're trying to be cool with your nano, you don't start trying to talk like the little green fella from star wars, it'll ruin the who "cool" effect 😉 😛
