I thought the same thing, but didn't say it.

The iPhone DID show me one fact of life. That I didn't need even 8 gigs of music. Because while I have 40+ gigs on my computer, only 7 of so I actually LISTEN to. (albums with ONE good song, music that was great when I was 15 - but notsomuch today, ect...)

Narrow things down a bit. Or are you just a Torrent Wh0Re? ;)

Um, need? That's like 19 thousand songs, about 53 days of music. Unless you're a one-person DJ SWAT team, methinks "need" is a bit strong. Maybe "prefer to keep my entire library on hand at all times" is closer (even if a bit extreme, IMO :p).

:D

Nope, need.

I totally understand the need/desire/preference/whatever to have all music on hand at all times. It's part of why I could never get a nano; I'm too in love with choice.

Whatever makes you feel good about yourself, brudda.

T'aint about me. Just curious about the perceived need to carry two months of music that could easily be updated daily.

I used to be the same way, but found I wasn't/couldn't listen to it all anyway, so just load a random portion periodically. Keeps it fresh & new.

Trust me, I'm not criticizing your choice (that comes later in the relationship!:p)
