I picked the iPod socks up at the Indianapolis Apple Store on black Friday. I really like them. I even started carrying my cell phone in one of them. They easily fit my iPod Photo and my wifes iPod Mini (with it's clip on). My wife is getting a Sony DSC-T1 Digital Camera for Christmas so I'm hoping that the camera will fit into one of these too.

On another note: when I was at the Apple store I saw the 30" Apple display for the first time.......AMAZING!

They had hundreds at the Apple store london when I went... So naturally I bought some... If anyone still wats pics of the mini in them, give me a shout.. :D

lol... You guys are making me wonder what I'm missing here... I saw them in the store & got a little chuckle out them, but I just can't bring myself to shell out 30 bucks for 'socks'... lol... I'm missing something here I tell 'ya...;-)

I was wondering too who'd spend $30 on something as utterly useless-sounding as iPod socks, until I got my new 4G iPod without the Apple case. I never had a third-party case for my old one--just used the Apple one that came with it for basic scratch protection, so I figured, no biggie.

Until I went to throw it in my backpack, and lacking any other form of basic scratch protection, put it in....you guessed it, a sock!

So now I'm going to cut the foot off that old sock and sew off the end, just to use it for my iPod. If all you need is basic scratch protection and don't need a more formal case, a sock's so simple it's actually oddly perfect.

You still couldn't get me to spend $30 to buy Apple's socks, though, not when I don't like half the colors and can make my own for free.
