iPod socks now avaiable

i thought the same thing cause the link didnt work. but on the apple store site under 'iPod Accessories' is a link 'Cases' go there, scroll down a bit and you will be shocked just like me!!! though i think it would be a good idea. i wouldnt mind buying it, except i only ont one color, well, maybe two. i think they will catch on. . . if only for a short time and only for a little christmas treat, it does say they will be availble at the begining of december.

You could never slide it into your pocket properly, it always got all kinds of muck stuck to it, the screen protector would always move around and it wouldn't protect the wheel. Since getting my foofpod I never use my iSkin, it is just so much easier and has protected my iPod just as well. So these socks use a similar idea, which must be insanely cheap for apple to make and they sell all the nice colours with the disgusting ones together so you have to fork out $30 for the lot.

So what seems like a good product as well as a funny announcement when Steve made it.

I think the foofpod might be even better than the socks.
 
Great Ridiculous Red Uakaris! I wonder if they offer Applecare for the socks? In case they get a hole in the toe or something.

Although I obviously haven't seen the socks in person, I would bet you are right. I bought one for my girlfriend and one for myself when they first came out and we both love them (I also have a wonderful foofbag for that matter). Unfortunately they don't have a distribution network Apple have, I think Apple may be making a killing on these socks.

how about ibook socks to match the ipod socks?... and what if they had velcro on the ibook socks and velcro it to my backpack from the inside...

i wonder if they are 100% cotton... i wouldnt want some wool ipod socks to make em itchy.
 
I thought they did make iBook socks? Maybe the iPod seems so much like the iBooks that it just seems like they did it. But an iBook sock would be awesome. Let Apple know about it.

Edit: Apparently I don't know what I'm doing. Just go to the store online and check it out yourselves. Lazy good for nothing....grumble...
