I've been known to use Pong and Breakout as generic terms for ANY paddle and ball game :)

But maybe he meant the people running Pong on their iPods with Linux. I feel like I've seen a screenshot of that.

Breakout is awesome, I coded myself a version of it in TurboPascal back in the days in my Comp Sci class in high school. Ah, good times...

well i forgot it was brick and not pong. someone mentioned pong before and i used the same word. oh dear. i shall be shunned from all mac forum use from now on because of this horrendous mistake.

brick still has crap programming causing the player to lose a ball every dozen or so hits because an inevitable corner hit sends it haywire. youd think after 4 generations of ipod, 2 photos, and 2 minis, theyd fix one of the four games they tout on the ipod website under features.

The iPod has Pong? I think you are confusing the iPod's Brick game (a variation of Breakout) with Pong. They are not the same thing.
Oh, you're right. Brick. It's like Pong, but for one person. :)

So, I guess this whole Tetris thing was just another hoax.

Or maybe that's why Apple is moving to Intel chips: so they can add Tetris to iPod!!

;)
