I'm not sure if Apple will make the iPod touch 5g.
But it will be cool if they did

Nope they're renaming it the iPad Nano, then the ipod nano will be called the ipad nano nano.

That, I think, would be awesome and funny at the same time.

Not really so funny, would be terrible marketing in Apple's behalf to do something like that. You don't rename a product which has become a household name it would just confuse people and make them think it is a different product.

no i don't think so.Look the ipod touch has always the features of the iPhone.The iPhone is supposed to have many changes like the screen,ram,cameras etc.So the ipod touch will include the features

iPod touch 5g

• Better camera 2/3 mpx
• Better ram 512mb?
• bigger screen
• etc..

My list of demands for the 5th arent too extensive...

I want exactly the same form factor. Dont change a damn thing on the outside.

I want a Better rear cam. Give us as least 2MP. C'mon Apple, don't cheap out again.

I want the new CPU, and 512MB of Ram. I would even deal with another A4, but the RAM bump is pretty necessary IMO. My prepaid Virgin Mobile Android phone has 512MB of RAM in it and it's 2+ year old technology.

if there isnt a huge difference in the iPod touch 5th gen, ill just get the 4th gen iPod touch once the prices start dropping

I am very worried because my birthday is in September and I really want to buy an iPod Touch but I do not know if there will be the iPod Touch 5g. Does anyone know if Apple will tell if and when there will be the iPod Touch 5g?

Why would anyone want to pay for a data plan on a touch when they can get a prepaid android phone with unlimited data for $25 or $35 a month?
