iPod touch iPod touch, first gen or second?

thanks for all the posts guys, I went and got a 2nd Gen 32GB one today. Very happy with it and for me, the 2nd gen one offers a lot more.
 
Why do you guys buy 32 gb of hard drive. It just interests me to know why people need that much space its crazy. 8b's is plenty to put a at least 3 movies, 1000 songs, and a bunch of pictures. But its your choice. just want to see responses why
 
so you dont have to sync your ipod as much. you can just put all your music on there. I have 40gb of music, and it is nice to not have to go back to the computer.

Huh?? If you currently have the 1st gen then there's not enough justifiable reason to get the second gen. But if you don't have one at all then it's a no brainer to get the 2nd gen. The lack of a speaker is a deal breaker. You may want to listen to a short podcast or a 30 second YouTube video, it's retarded to have to put on headphones just for that.
 
Current gen. Might as well get the newer one since Apple is gonna make the 1g ancient soon when they make the 3g.
