You're not "risking your warranty" because you can always restore it would just be like it's brand new. Unless someone decides to take it to the apple store with 5 pages full of apps or something
Well, I find I really only used mine jailbroken. It was ok as an ipod unjailbroken w/o the extra apps, but jailbreaking added needed apps and entetainment for such an expensive little unit. Just the options make it worthwhile. And jailbreaking allows you access toa ll the free/donation software out there rather for paying for software which might not be as good. I'm not against paying for really good stuff..but if there's a free optionwhich is just as good or better....
