I just called the regent street store and they told me they dont have ipod touches and that they will get them at the end of next week!!? What the hell is going on with this touches??

i called regent street yesterday and they said they don't know when they will be getting them in stock.. i wanted to get one before friday 26th october for someones birthday.. i've been calling up all apple stores near me, but they dont seem to have any stock either. so now i don't know if it will be better to order it online or just wait :s

Yeah, what's the point of only have a hand-full these per store, and then all got snatched up in 5 minutes. I might try the online store, as the wait is down to a week now.
 
I maybe reading their website wrong but argos seem to have stock of most of the new versions with a 2 day delivery to their store of your choice?

May not have any by just walking in but a 2 day wait seems not too bad?

i read that too.. also currys have some in stock i think. but im not sure if they are just saying that
 
My ipod should be arriving on or before the 25th of October according to an email from apple i got. Cant Wait.

That also what mine says. I have been on the edge of my seat looking out the window to see if anything arrives. I am so excited.

give a shout when yours comes. Everytime i hear a van or the like pull into the culdisac im up at the window like a dog.

Any luck yet still not coming but tracking says it is ready to come tomorrow so I am so excited.
 
Tescos now have them, although oddly looking at the 64gb blue for example you don't appear to be able to collect from store the next day. Given I've already got mine I won't push the txn any further (although husband has asked one for Christmas after he broke his old nano some time ago..).

I bought both my iPads from tescos, picked up boatloads of clubcard points and quidco, plus picked them up the next day!
