Just curious what program will you guys/gals use to load video on the Itouch? I have a PSP and use PSP Creator and that works very well for the PSP. I was just wondering what is your opinion of a good program.

Also can the cover flow art be added to the Itouch manually? I don't have one yet but probably this week if I can find one.

Take Care
YB :)

I believe you have to use iTunes.

P.S. Video editing has commenced.

OK so I have been having a lot of problems with Premiere CS3 and my camera but I finally got them all sorted out. I went ahead and just did a very basic edit of the video because I know some of you are antsy about seeing this thing. The video is encoding now(which takes awhile as it is 1080i video) but as soon as it is done I will upload it to stage6(which I have never used before but hopefully all goes well) for you guys to enjoy. I will take a bit longer to edit the other videos and try and make sure I get all of your requests included as they are posted. I will be filming the other videos tomorrow, but for now I am trying to get this first video up, then get the second one up later tonight.:)

Hey guys! Quick update. So the divx codec doesn't seem to play well with my video. I have been encoding this video for 6 hours with various configurations to no avail. I am currently re-encoding the video with h.264 and if it looks ok then I will temporarily upload it to my own web server(providing it gives out a good download speed). In the meantime I will look for other sites to use(I will look into filefront as mentioned).

Success! I found a better encoding utility and with a little modification I have been able to produce a very nice looking 720p video. I am currently uploading it to stage6 and will update both the first post and this post with a link to the video.

First video posted!

1. iPod Touch Unboxing
Length: 6:05
Posted: Sept. 16th

Now that the first video is up I am going to get some sleep then continue on the second video this afternoon.

Good work Colto, I like it.

Plz make some other long in-depth video, I wanna know more about touch (features, problems, opinions). :D

I agree with other comments, nice video colto. Now we´re looking forward to your second vid. ;)

My thanks also, definitely a nice video. MMMmmmmmm...... High definition and iPod touch goodness together :p
Can't wait for the next one! :D

really nice! the cloth is for cleaning the screen by the way :D

Haha yeah I figured that out a bit after making the video. Thanks for all the warm comments. Let me know if the video is unable to play for anyone and I will upload it to youtube.

Live iPod Touch Review/Q&A

EDIT: Oops this was supposed to be posted as a new topic. I went ahead and created a new topic here: https://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?p=4190500#post4190500

What would you guys think about me doing a live iPod Touch review one of these nights? I could hook up my webcam and do a live broadcast through stickam.com. You guys would be able to submit things you would like to see, questions, etc. and I would review them live....instantly! Black issues, video playback, interface etc.

Second video is publishing now. I have to run out but the video will show up here within the hour hopefully:

http://stage6.divx.com/user/colto/videos/

If someone could post a direct link to the second video when it is online that would be awesome. It would help people know that there is a new video online. I will update the main post with the link whenever I get back. Enjoy guys(and girls)!

Ok the video status has been set to "publishing" for 6 hours. That's not right. The first video took 20 minutes. I am going to try re-uploading it. Hopefully I can get the kinks all worked out of this video posting system now so that the next few(lengthier) videos don't take as long to get online.

What camera are you using?
Canon HV20 - http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&fcategoryid=177&modelid=14869

It's super sweet. I can do 1080p at 24fps with a cinema setting that resembles film gamut and levels. Optical image stabilization, HDMI,component, and composite out, tons of manual settings, instant autofocus, hot shoe, and a compact design. I don't do it any justice with my handheld approach and low lighting indoors in these videos. Outdoors however, this thing pumps out the most amazing video I have seen outside of Discovery channel HD.

I'm actually in the market for a new camcorder, care to sell it to me?

Just kidding, but thank you for the review, it's a tad out of my budget though.

Well what is your budget and what are you looking to do with your camera?
