This is such a pain in the ass. Does anyone have any information on the restrictions at O'Hare International? My connecting flight happens to be there on the 26th and was wondering if I had to go through the whole security check process again.
I was thinking about this terrorist plot and I think it was probably meant to fail because failure has ensured that that MILLIONS of people are going to be inconvienced of creature comforts. If the plot had gone off as planned, bombs would have been the likely culprit and security would have been increased but primarily, that security is not intrusive other than searching luggage and people. It would probably not result in the banning of electronics and liquids. By the way, did anyone catch video of the TSA people stopping passengers with coffee and other liquids and making them pour it into 1 big container IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LOBBY!? That tells me right there that the threat is not credible and that the TSA et. al don't take it seriously. People need to wake up and see that this government is dangerously incompetent and only interested in taking away rights.
Talk about how a few bad apples ruin flights for everyone. I swear I hate terrorists just for the fact that I have never done them anyharm yet they get our govenrments paranoid that in turn affect the way I live.....nsa spying, airports,***** gas prices, and even going to sporting events.
Have you ever thought about WHY gas was so cheap in the US and where it comes from?? And, keep in mind that people in Iraq have worse problems than not being able to go to sporting events. While this is not entirely the fault of the western world, you cannot say that we've not been involved whatsoever. I'm not trying to justify terrorist attack, just pointing out that it's more complicated than "they're the evil, we are the good".
