I'm a Master's student and been using this for several days.

Experience has been almost all positive!

A few things I wish could be implemented (such as no due date tasks), but on the whole, very good and is somewhat what I was looking for :)

I'll keep posting impressions :)

I think you might be misunderstanding how the app works. :) The Subjects, Tasks, and other data that you enter in iProcrastinate is stored in the app itself. It is not transferred to iCal or any other application.

Does this make sense? There's a short "How does this work?" section on the website: FAQ Site Link

Craig, I gotta give you major kudos.

I downloaded iProcrastinate a few years ago for my iPod while it was free. Key features that made me like it: multiple subjects (now used for clients / projects) and, of course, price. Interface was good, nothing phenomenal, but the custom colors was a nice touch, and everything worked as intended- definitely better than I expected for free.

Then I stumbled across the news that it was coming to the MAS, just as I needed it. After a few days of waiting for your update to be approved, I snagged it and the new iOS version. While there's still a few things that could be improved in the Mac version, I gotta say- I love the functionality, the interface does exactly what I need it to, and does it at a very nice price (though I would have dropped a few bucks on the Mac version without a second thought, which is very rare for me). And the icing on the proverbial cake- the iDevice <-> Mac sync works just as easily as advertised.

Keep up the good work- your work is helping me keep up with mine. ;)

[DISCLAIMER: I HAVE NOT BEEN PAID BY THE DEVELOPER. Even though it might sound that way. :p ]

I've been looking around for a good task app forever. I have THL which is kinda what I need but the lack of iPhone app has always always been a sticking point with me. I've tried a number of other apps but was never convinced. Until I stumbled across iProcrastinate.

I always thought of it as a student to do list (I run a small business) so I never tried it but I'm sold. It's a great app and I would lay down money to purchase it anytime

That said there are a few things I feel can be improved.
1. Open ended tasks. Some tasks I have are not required to have a deadline or are dependent on some one else's actions/reply. I prefer an option to leave to those open.

2. The ability to group tasks together. I have so many tasks in so many categories it gets confusing to have the Subjects have only 1 level. It would be great to be able to at least group them into folders.

3. To have task within a task with its own timelines. Or be able to assign dates to the steps involved.

4. This is just me here but I think the interface could be brushed up a little.

But other than that great job Craig! You have my eternal gratitude. Please keep this alive.
