iRealSMS 2.0.8 UPDATE with QuickSend & More!

hmm the lite version with quickreply and quick sms sounds a deal to me. but can you pleaseee make it like press + hold volume up key for like 1 or 2 sec for quick sms to pop up. it just gets really annoying sometimes, for example when im in ipod or even in a phone call...

im looking forward for the lite version and really hope tht u will fix the quick sms issue.

Right now iRealLITE is priority on our list. And that should be released within the next few days. After its release we will be working on another update. Dont quote me but I say maybe another week away... nothing major, but just some more bug fixes and hopefully we will be implimenting a toggle to switch between hotkeys for quicksend.

bitesms was install and uninstall before using the trail irealsms (which i had no problems what so ever ) then i purchase it now it all F up im about to restore my phone which i really really REALLY DONT WANT TO DO

One press of the volume up key toggles up QuickSend.
A second consecutive tap of the volume up key will toggle down quickSend and restore normal volume up controls.

We are working for the next version and iRealLITE a toggle so to give an option for an alternative hotkey. If you use iRealSMS right now you will notice that a double tap of the home button will toggle up QuickSMS. Its a little easter egg. But you have to go to your prefrences and switch the home button function to "HOME SCREEN."
This will exit you back to the home screen too though, so it will not allow you to quickSend from any app yet. That will be implimented in the next version.

Im sorry, but I have no additional troubleshooting tips. But a restore will definatly work. :(
 
Ok this is crazy I did full restore and it still don't work smh I'm done with this crap, I didn't instill anything but clippy , ispoof and irealsms I didn't play with any of the setting everything is on stock SMS alert comes up. When the next update coming out I tryed contacting the dev no reply if don't get any reply from him this week im going take my money back

I know clippy is not the problem because I am using it as well
I would think iSpoof may had something to do with it. Please Uninstall iSpoof, reboot and try it.
NOTE: new version of clippy is 100% compatible with irealsms now. For those whom were having problems with it before.

UPDATE: I installed ispoof. No problems on my phone. I am running a 3G on 2.2.1 with tmobile.
I have multiple apps installed on my system. I would be happy to set up a chat of some sort and attempt to zero in on the problem. I noticed you've trxtes the same thing on mutuole forums, . PM me on any of those forums and I will help

Lol Ok To Everyone Or Those Who Which Have Issue That I Was Undergoing Basically All You Need To Do Is Reset Your Setting Seems The Phone Maybe Stuck In Between Sms Apps Programs, In The Begin I Was Using Bitesms Then Trial Irealsms Then Purchase Irealsms So I Think My Phone Setting Maybe Got Mess Up In The All The Install/unistall App Anyway Go To Setting Then Hit General Then Hit Reset And Hit Reset All Setting.
Fyi This Will Mess Up Your Spring Board Order And Sound But It Does The Trick Now I Have A Working Irealsms :)

I'm having all kinds of problems. Whenever I try to reply to a text message with the lock screen "quick reply" after I type a few words it just disappears. Then when I slide to unlock the regular quick reply is not there so I have to open the application. This happens EVERYTIME that I try to respond on the lock screen.

A few times the keyboard has stayed open after the quick reply on lock screen disappeared and then you are unable to slide to unlock and the only way to get it to go away was to turn the phone off and then back on again. This update has brought nothing but problems for me. :confused:

Are you running biteSMS and trying to use both of them as default?
I was playing around trying to use biteSMS with iRealSMS to get quickSend and the quickReply from both apps were conflicting with one another, and I would get double popups and the sending status bar from BiteSMS would remain on the screen until I resprung.
Ill help you troubleshoot, just PM me.

I wasn't paying attention when Cydia updated this yesterday so I didn't realize there was the new QuickSMS feature. So this AM, I'm on the subway and try to turn the vol up. WTF?

I got to work and googled...now I get how to use the new feature.

How do I buy a license for this version only, without having to buy the whole irealsms 2.0 app?

Im glad you enjoy it! We had a lot of fun and frustration developing it. You will be happy to know there is an update coming soon to add the changes that you see available in the iRealQuickSMS app. So watch for it. And thank you for your support!

Anything is possible, but it will require a MASSIVE amount of hacking to the system. We will see in the future if we have time to tackle this assignment. For now we have bugs to fix and a couple nice additions for the near future.

Our main site should be updated so check it out. Last night you could only purchase the item though the settings application it placed on your springboard.

Ok I just installed iRealQuickSMS which is really good, but my problem is that I don't want the Apple pop-up notification to show whenever I recieve either a call or sms, so I have disabled these with iBlacklist.

but the problem is.. That whenever I recieve an sms the iBlacklist app blocks the quickReply pop-up so I can't reply to the sms, I have to open the sms app instead

Is there any solution for this problem? The main reason I have popup notifications disabled with iBlacklist is because I have statusnotifier installed so I just get the Icons up on the statusbar.
 
Hi,

I wish to keep the regular apple popup notification when receiving "allowed" sms, now after installing/turning on the iblacklist i only get a sound notification for "allowed" sms and the regular number identif for the amount of new mess on the regular sms appl icon.
Blocked sms works as it shoule, but i wish to keep the normal behaviour for receiving regular sms.

Any way around this?
