Doesn't seem to be a beta for iRealQuickSMS in the beta repo. I'm a paid user for this one. Never really needed the whole iRealSMS. Hopefully I'll see the update soon :D

Update looks awesome.

iRealQuickSMS will be updated to fix the current bugs, however it won;t have the full features of iRealSMS check the forums as well for more info on that :)

Np =] All i'm looking for is the bug fixes. Will it not have the new UI with the badges?

Oh wow... Yea no thanks, haha. A little expensive for me for a minor convenience.

You can also just buy irealquicksms, which give you the quickreply function, the ability to create new SMS from any app, etc. I personally don't need the full irealsms program so I just went with irealquicksms - cost me around 5 bucks. Well worth it.

I've checked but can't seem to find anything related to my issue. If I can't fix it, i'm going back to 2.0

Go to Cydia there is an update posted, I believe it fixes the issue.

I had the full ireal sms license since it came out. I also had a 2g phone

I asked the developer to transfer my license to irealquicksms, because I wanted the mms function when I got my 3Gs

but now that iRealsms has the mms function...do you think I could go back to my full license?

I'm sure they'll have something for ya, you can get in touch with Reznor9 at the forums.

iRealSMS 3.0 Will be a paid upgrade, but iRealSMS 2.0 users still have a chance to participate in the beta process to receive a FREE UPGRADE.

@All iRealSMS 2.0 users: BE SURE TO INSTALL THE 3.0 BETA TO AUTOMATICALLY UPGRADE YOUR LICENSE. This will guarantee you a free upgrade to iRealSMS 3.0 when it is released.

To users of the iRealSMS 3.0 beta, as long as your a licensed 2.0 user, and you are not getting the Trial Mode Splashscreen when you launch, then you are already in the system as upgraded to iRealSMS 3.0, so your already locked in for the FREE upgrade when the app launches officially... so your good!

But this is a shout out to those of you with iRealSMS 2.0 that have decided to pass on the beta and wait for the Official launch... if you dont install the beta you will miss out on the FREE UPGRADE incentive. And btw, the beta is much more stable and polished than the current 2.0 app anyways, so what is anyone even doing using the old 2.0 version still?

For those that purchased iRealSMS 2.0 via RockApp, just send me your purchase reciept to serial@irealsms.com, subject: "RockApp Free Upgrade" and I will send you a free upgrade as well. This offer is only good during the beta period. So hurry and send it.

Thanks again for everyone's support and bug reports. The app should launch at the end of the month. Just cleaning up the known bugs and getting it ready for release.

Reznor,

What's the deal for those of us who own irealquicksms? Will we get a free upgrade to irealquicksms 3.0?

What's the difference between irealsms and irealquicksms? Two different products?

Two different products. Irealsms is a full-fledged SMS app (you use it in place of the stock app). Irealquicksms is a part of irealsms but you can buy it separately. Irealquicksms gives you the ability to respond to text messages (and create new ones) from any screen. You can be in any app and when a new message comes in, you can reply right from that app - no need to exit your current app and open the sms app. It's very handy and something that Apple should consider implementing themselves. I personally don't have a need for a full-fledged SMS app to replace the stock app so that's why I just purchased irealquicksms. I'm sure irealsms has some features that make it more attractive than the stock app but I can't imagine that I would use any of them. The quickreply function of irealquicksms is excellent.
