It seems the 128 GB 7+ is the most difficult to find. Is there any reason as to why this is the case? With a 256 GB option I figured it would be the go to option for those who like large storage capacity.

Popular here, or popular "out there?"

Well a $hundred here, another $hundred there and all of a sudden that phone looks real expensive.

I guess popular here is definitely different than popular out there.

My local carrier mentioned the 32 GB was the most popular. 128 GB is way more than I would require. Although, you can never have enough space versus to little.

People buying outright would most likely pick the two larger options. People wanting an iPhone just cause it's an iPhone through their carriers would most likely settle for the lower storage.

I had the 256 GB Black regular 7 but today exchanged for the 128 GB Black 7+. I figured 256 was a little overkill but 32GB is too little to chance with my wife pregnant with twins. Going to be taking a lot of pictures and videos of the babies when they get here.

Congrats on twin . I wish Apple started out with 64 gb. You know. Something useful for one. Like you paying Lots of money for any phone. Give us 64 to start then double it.

Sounds like they are money hungry selfish sometimes I'm sorry. Yah. Have fun with paying for cloud services and all that stuff. Come on Apple.... show us some respect after all your nothing without customers

The only thing Apple loves about us, is our wallet. Nothing more, nothing less.

Hahaha. That's true. The apple music thing should come with your iPhone not an added fee. You're right buddy.

Why can't they do that with their movie collection... like a netflix type thing. Probably would cost 80 a month lol.

Congratulations :)

I have a 5 month old son and have been taking tons of pictures of him. First on my 6S plus and now on my 7 plus, both are 128GB. Coupled with 200GB of iCloud storage and I'm doing fine space wise.

I'm sure 32GB is the most popular model this time round, just as 16GB was in the past. Most people buy their iPhone on contract and go for the cheapest option/the one they can get with no upfront cost.

On the other hand, US carriers have mostly switched to "0%" installment plans. Nowadays, upfront cost is typically just the tax and the difference between capacities is around $5/mo per tier. I reckon that actually makes higher capacities more affordable for most. Before on 2-year contracts, you'd need to pay $299-399 plus tax out of pocket for the 32-64GB tiers.

When I went to my 6plus, I figured I would only need 32G, but the the 64 was the same price that the 32 was the year before. So I got it, and now with larger app sized updates, I have used over 32G on my 6. By the time I upgrade to the 8, I most likely will need the 128 just to make sure I have enough.

I had forgotten that Apple had done away with the 64 so I will have to get the 128.

If one thinks about it, it is almost amazing how much storage is possible on such tiny chips.i still think back to my first computer that had 4Gs of storage. Others here I'm sure had computers that only had a few hundred meg's

think 128GB was the sweet spot for many. I personally went for 256GB as it become available and now my OCD has made me tell myself i needed a 256GB ipad pro 9.7 to go with it.
