Why are you not considering the iPhone 8 plus? Its a much better, more practical phone. Plus you get NO ugly notch. You gain touch ID and a home button. Consider it.

iPhone XS Max Is a good idea move from X to XS Max?

Why are you not considering the iPhone 8 plus? Its a much better, more practical phone. Plus you get NO ugly notch. You gain touch ID and a home button. Consider it.
The XS Max is an awesome phone. FaceID is seamless, don’t miss TouchID at all like I thought I would. Battery life is great and the screen is amazing too.
I loved 7 and 8 Plus, but when i bought my first iphone i went for X.
The plus problem is the display, notch isn’t a problem for me but i have more space for read and watch than classics iphones.
Tue Max problem is the landscape view in home .
Why is this a problem? Other than the home screen, landscape works exactly how it worked on the plus models. When do you use your phone in landscape while on the home screen?

Landscape home is a good thing with landscape view for apps. With android the pandscape view work for everything, into Ios work only with Apple’s apps and some thrid apps.
I will try how work this Iphone Max into my car and i will decide if stay with X or the Max.
I am at 90% decided for iPhone Max because i used it for send message, navigate and answer here with taptalk and big screen with big keyboard makes its very easy .
Another upgrade is face id. It is more fast and it find my head in half second, while i unlock Iphone X 60% of time with face id and 40% with password.
Quality screen, colors and speed are the same for me (i know about new Ax12 but the difference is minimal)

The landscape support is not an iOS problem. It’s down to individual developers to support landscape view.
Also I did have the home screen landscape view on my previous phone but realised I didn’t use the phone on the home screen in landscape enough to worry about it. When do you use your phone on home screen in landscape view?
All of those support landscape view.
I’m astonished that you have to use password 40% of the times. The only time Face ID fails for me is when I’m trying to unlock the phone lying down on bed where my face is not revealed properly. I suggest rescan your face.
