Many instances. You are out sightseeing, your phone battery dies. You summon an Uber on the watch. However you can’t find the driver so you need to talk with him. You call on your watch but you can’t hear anything over the street noise. Driver cancels, you lose $10 for the time, and you still have no ride.

Perhaps it’s a cultural thing, but here in London most people would do anything rather than making a call on their watches in public lol

Completely agree. don’t know why I ordered the cellular model anyway. ‍♂️

The Series 2 and Series 3 are really a lot of the same, except with the LTE and faster dual core processor with the Series 3, but you have to factor, is how long do you plan on keeping the Watch before you want to upgrade again? The reason I say this is, is because the Series 2 would be more limited in receiving watchOS updates versus the Series 3, which would at least see an additional year or two in longevity for WatchOS.

I was going to mention that as well. @Relentless Power - if that’s your real picture then well done.

I just bought a Jailbroken X and am unable to get the series 4 that I wanted as it requires iOS 12 or higher. I am forced to get the 3. Is it still a solid upgrade from the 2 (which I just shattered) or should I just get another 2? I hate that I'm spending almost as much for a 3 as I would for a 4. The 42 mm aluminum gps 3 is $359 on eBay. Is that steep? Thanks!

I agree with many who have posted before me. The series 3 is a big upgrade from the 2. I just bought a used Cellular Version 3 off of another forum member here, and it’s been like night & day from my series 2 (which I loved). I don’t use the cellular often, but it’s nice to have, but the battery lasts way longer & everything is much quicker on the 3. I only paid about $260 for mine, and it looks pretty much like new.
