I think they should phase out 16gb on their flagship devices. The base "HTC One" that I bought in May came with a minimum of 32gb. (Though perhaps the OS and Sense take up so much space that 16gb would be a bad experience).

I know few people who got a 16gb iPhone 4S that don't wish they had more space and aren't planning on getting a 32gb 5s. No, they're not loading music onto their phones even. Mostly it's that they don't really have any means of offloading their photos and video (don't own a computer), their phone is their primary camera, so they frequently run into space issues between a handful of decent size apps and photos and video.

Now, if Apple changed how photostream worked (so that it stored all photos and not just the last 30 days or 1000 or whatever it is) and allowed video upload as well, it would solve this problem and 16gb might be fine. I just don't think it's enough right now for someone who doesn't have a computer and isn't tech savvy enough to figure out other means of getting their photos into the cloud.

The only problem with having music in the cloud is that there are always enough times where you don't have internet access that makes is so inconvenient.

But it doesn't have to be an all or nothing deal. You can still carry several hours worth of your favourite music on your phone even if the majority of your collection is on the cloud.

No, 16GB isn't nearly enough for me. My 4S has been filled since day one.

1000 songs (128kbps)
3500 pictures
33 apps

....and 94 MB left, after deleting Facebook to free up room. I don't understand.

I've been able to live with 16GB. I could use more to store movies, but no way I'm paying Apple prices for the extra capacity when a 64GB microSD card costs about $50. No wonder people are buying Android phones.

I have the 16gb 5s, and really wish I had more space. I have about 6 gigs of music, and a lot of photos. But mostly, I like playing games like Infinity Blade III and Real Racing, both of which take up ALOT of space!! I think I might go get the 32gb and return this one instead.
