Is anyone else NOT hoping for a MBP revision? (Mainly new owners)

Didn't apple just revised he MBP with led screens?

They started flowing in on the Santa Rosa's 15" model, but that's not a case redesign, if you think about it...

I love my Penryn so I'm ok with it. Plus, I want all the people who are waiting for the next revision to be happy since i know how it feels to wait so long for something you want. If anything, I'm crossing my fingers for them so they can be as happy then as I am now.

If there is a revision, good for all those waiting out there. I've waited for 11 months and I know how bad it feels. Otherwise, I'll simply feel good about having the latest and greatest. Regardless, I'll just continue to enjoy my MBP and wait for Nehalem and its successors. Nehalem is already touted to be a massive improvement according to some estimated benchmarks I've seen and waiting for Montevina when I need a new laptop now is silly, especially when what it offers don't matter that much to me (WiMax not in general use, better integrated graphics which I don't care for, FSB 1066 which offers limited improvement in speed since we're using dual-channel DDR 667 RAM, etc.) and I'll risk being a guinea pig with the newly-designed Revision A machines.

I just bought a new MBP and love it so much, but I'm a freak and have to have the greatest thing out at the time, like a lot of other people...so I'm not hoping for a revision in the MBP line. Personally I think it's a little out of control to have a new one come out 3 months after a "new" one came out. I think this might upset a lot of new MBP owners, especially ones who aren't extremely up to date on Apple rumors and news and wouldn't know something new is coming out. This is my first Mac and after checking out the Apple web site about new MBPs I decided to buy after waiting for something new to come out so I wasn't really up on all the rumors until after I got this MBP I have now. Does anyone else feel the same way I do?

You wont see an update until summer (june probably july update) of this year with the new montevina 1066mhz frontside bus and most likely will use 800mhz 4GB RAM (which is what I'm waiting for).

Yes, they will redesign the mbp as soon as June or as late as April. Expect esata ports, hdmi, faster bus, blue ray drive and full HD res screen.

Great, but for me and FCS 2, the bigger improvement is on Nehalem 4 core at Mac world 09. Thats when i will upgrade.
