I think the 64gb is sufficient. Beyond that cloud storage is probably the way to go. I also use the Kingston widrive, there is also the Seagate wifi HDD, I think that is 500gb.

Yes you go right ahead and use Cloud storage. You think you have security issues now....you haven't seen anything yet. Do you actually believe that all your personal files, photos, information about you, your family, the love of your life, your children, your boss, menstrual cycles, etc, are really just archived on some huge supercomputer located who knows where with your data protected by biometrics will be kept private and accessible ONLY by you?

Fat chance....

Still don't understand why people have a need to load up their ENTIRE music collection on their iDevices. Who listens to all of their music at once? I just don't get it. Maybe I'm missing something? Also, how many apps to do you have that max out your device?

Lastly, there is a 64gb iPad. If you maxed out the 32, get the 64. Why complain about no having 128? Then you will have people complaining why not 256?

It never ends.

Yes, my ass is hurting because there was no 128gb iPad.

The reason for carrying your entire music collection is so that 1) you don't have to constantly keep switching out music and 2) you don't have to anticipate what music you or others that might listen to your music will want to listen to. In fact the other day, I was in the car with my nephew, who by the way has a 160GB iPod Classic to keep his entire music collection on, and after listening to his music for 1 leg of the trip I decided he should listen to some his grandmother, who was in the car as well, would like. Since I had my entire collection, I could make a better selection to something they both would like.

For me if I get an iPad, I would want it as a portable media device for mainly videos. Thus, I would want to be able to keep a number of movies and TV Shows. So that I could watch whatever I felt like at that moment, and to really make use of the Retina display that is going to take up a lot of storage.
