Definitely most people are happy with their iPhones. For me it has been the best phone yet, not perfect but what is?. It does everything I need in a phone and media player. Plus many of my favorite games are available for it (and when they are not available GL does a copycat of it :p).

It does not replace my camcorder, DSi or GPS. But unlike these devices it is always with me and works ok.

Sure you will always find the complainer that says they hate their iphone, yet they continue to use it. These guys must love the iphone secretly. If I don't like a product I just get rid of it.

There is a funny pictorial of iphone kind of users here that shows the complainer (bottom one):

Happy with Iphone?

Of course we come here to post and discuss problems! What else is a forum for?
Nevertheless from the day I started using my Iphone the way in which I interacted with the web changed... Again! I have 2 desktops sitting in front of me at this very moment. One is showing the PBS Newshour, while currently the other is inactive. At times they are both busy, even multi-tasking busy, sometimes I am on my Iphone, not even occupied with a phone call but using an app. I love reviewing new freestyle raps at XXL during commercial breaks. I pop up to write down a thought, a poem, check an email, reference some news item or look for something at my local library related to something else I am currently watching.
This does not mean that Iphone is perfect. I come here and acknowledge bugs which I seem to encounter at times. Apple seems to have also some rather unique updating schemes. I am not certain that I admire their 2gyg updates for example and am sometimes perplexed as to why they are frequent & necessary, much more than the average user here as I still am on (arghhh!) dialup...
I cannot offer a comparison to devices. My first cellphone only came into play a year ago or so. It is one of those brick-like devices that only works as a phone.
This device is more like a revolution, like the 1st cool years ofbthe internet which were full of original poetry and experimental websites. The hardware I think is very high-quality, the software for this time and moment probably pretty good, but I think that there is obviously a ways to go with that. Sometimes I think that Apple should slow down a bit as with all experiments there are bugs and users nevertheless depend on this device.
Gone, long gone are the days of devices hard-wired and dependable in their limited ways. The bottom line: Apple has done a great job of providing beautiful hardware.. Knowing that it is also a device of software we realize that instead of just using it... We can actually become part of it, so unlike a VCR, we don't spend our time thinking about setting the clock.... We think about what the clock can be and as if in some bizarre dream we sometimes wake up to find we actually changed something by thinking in such a way.
My brick phone sits on the counter, always ready to be in use again, exactly as I remembered it, with no surprises & no changes. I will wake up tomorrow & it will be faithfully sitting there, like my VCR, waiting to have it's clock reset.

I went from a blackberry to a iPhone on Verizon. Deffinitely happy with the iPhone. I never really have any problems with it. Battery life seems good to me, no problems with dropped calls. I've only had to reset my iPhone a couple times since getting it in feb. I was resetting my blackberry a couple times a day. If you want the phone get it. Don't let others talk you out of what you want.

I'm happy. But I'm skipping iPhone 4, and very likely the iPhone 4S (or whatever they end up calling it) because of (1) the glass back and (2) the antenna issues. I can be patient.

But if the choice was no iPhone vs an iPhone 4… I'd actually go with the iPhone 4. :)

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I love my iPhone4. Haven't had any of the issues that some have identified... AT&T works for me, no issues there, and no problem with the glass design.

It's probably the best phone I've owned (comparatively at the time).

I'm very much looking forward to a big overhaul to iOS. While it works, it is certainly in need of some big improvements. I probably won't be upgrading to the next iPhone unless it is LTE/4G compatible. I just don't see the need, as I said, I'm very happy with the iPhone4.

I REALLY Like everything about my iPhone 4 but just two things.

1) Phone calls are marginal at best, and I hate that Apple points the finger at AT&T.

I'm not advocating for them, but I always carry at least two phones on AT&T and the only ones that ever have a problem are iPhones (I've have had every one) My other AT&T phones perform excellently as a phone.

2) I'm not fond of the 3.5" display. Make it at least 4.0

I'm truly looking forward to the day I can say my iPhone makes great, or heck even good calls :)

I skipped the ip4 as well (glass back, antenna, small screen). If the ip5 doesn't change any of that I'll probably buy a bargain basement ip4 come September.

One thing's fore sure, it's gonna be a very interesting release this year.

I agree it will be a very interesting year. Over the next 18 months actually, it will be quite fun watching what Apple does.

I'm not buying another new iPhone till I read the reviews. I really do like my iPhone 4 EXCEPT for the poor phone.

I'm a huge Apple enthusiast, and not being able to use it as my primary smartphone is an embarrassment.

But the phone is mission critical for me.

My new Samsung Infuse on AT&T provides very nice, loud and clear phone calls. It holds them, without dropping and that's all one could ask for.

Come on Apple I know you can do it. :)

Very happy with it, love everything about the 4 other than it's locked to my carrier. I was fixed on getting it since the leak of the prototype iphone 4 because the design is just so beautiful. I would still go for the 4 even if the software is crappy.

^ this is like encouraging Apple to make crappy software for the iPhone.

I don't have any problem with my iPhone4.It's easy to use & having a good quality. If you have an problem for holding so you must try some accessories, which is available in market. It's a really good product having features of Bluetooth, camera, good memory & sound quality & display. Just use it properly i m sure you will like it.

Nothing is perfect. Android users normally try and find flaws so they can say iPhone sucks, the same goes for iPhone users against Android users. Nevertheless, I use an iPhone which has flaws like anything else in the world, but these flaws don't stop me from doing what I want with my phone, so yes, i'm happy with my IP4.
