with not knowing I would be stuck with the new baseband of 1.1.2 I upgraded mine a while back and jailbroke it. Mine was originally a 1.1.1OTB.. i wanted to go back to 1.1.1 full time but was told without reupgrading it to 1.1.2 the phone features would never work again.

on a 1.0.2 now...
would u recommend me to upgrade to 1.1.1 or 1.1.2
or there isn't much HUGE diff btn both
so either would do fine?

thanks thanks

Was on 1.0.2 unlocked for a few months and recently upgraded to 1.1.1.

There isn't much of a difference between 1.1.1 and 1.1.2. The main differences that I can think of are that 1.1.2 has international language and keyboard support (as this was the firmware that launched in Europe), slightly faster processor increase and some bug fixes.

I think the biggest problem hanging out on 1.1.1 is that 1.1.3 is required for the forthcoming iPhone apps. The SDK will require 1.1.3.

Well supposedly, the iPhone Dev Team actually has a real jailbreak for 1.1.3, but didnt want to release it so that when the SDK comes out, people are immediately able to jailbreak 1.1.3 or 1.1.4/1.2.0.

Just upgrade from 1.0.2 to 1.1.1 and use jailbreakme.com. 1.1.2 is nothing special, and is nothing worth risking...
