Okay, so I just bought an iPad mini with retina and it was completely fine during setup. Updated it, wifi sucked so I returned it. The exchanged one has iOS 7.1.2 and is completely fine. The phones in my house updated to iOS 8 and 8.0.2. They are all having wifi issues.

My Android devices and iOS7 devices all like da wifi. I really hope Apple is aware that wifi is a huge problem with this update (unless it's just me, but I've been looking through the Apple Support forums).

And yes I reset all network settings...which works for like 5 minutes then it goes out. DFU restore does nothing. iPad is pretty much useless right now.

I only say this because the change logs for the updates don't seem to address this issues.

My iPhone 5S has trouble too. Wifi will refuse to reconnect until after I restart the phone and wifi calling doesn't migrate back to cellular.

yes some users already had calls from apple to install wifi profile for diagnostic reasons
