Why am I always the only one that has never had any issues with WIFI sync? Like none at all ever. Sync songs wirelessly, apps, everything works fine for me.

Same here. No issues with WiFI sync. Sure it can sometimes be slow, but thats always been the case.

It's always been fickle for me. If no sync, quit iTunes.

Step 1: Toggle MacBook Wifi off, wait 2 seconds then on.

Restart iTunes. If no sync, quit iTunes:

Step: 2: Turn iPhone WiFi off, wait 2 seconds then on.

Restart iTunes. If no sync, rinse and repeat.

Step 3: After 3 cycles above - use cable if I can find it.

The only issue is that sometimes I have to initiate a sync from both my Mac and my iPhone, otherwise it will timeout and say my computer/iPhone isn't connected on the same network.

It sucks that some of you are having issues, I myself havent really had any issues with wi-fi sync. :apple:

I feel bad for those that are having issues with this. It's one of my favorite underrated features...

I think that might be because it's so sporatic. I know that it works for people, but I've never met such a person. I know of about 20 people with multiple iOS devices and I've never seen it function properly on a regular basis with any of them.
I personally have had 4 iPhones and 2 iPads since it was introduced in iOS 5 and it has never worked for me. It's alright though, I don't sync often enough to care, but it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if they made a feature work as advertised.

I've done a lot of searching on ze 'Net and in the other support forums. The majority of folks having problems are Windows 7 64 bit. Windows 32 bit is hit and miss. I'm on Windows 7 64 bit and it's never worked reliably for me.

It depends on everything. What iTunes is running on, your network, the configuration of everything, etc. :(

It's been almost 7 months and six updates/bug fixes since iOS 6 was released, and this important feature is STILL broken.

Wi-Fi Sync was a great addition to iOS 5, as it finally allowed users to cut the cord and do almost everything wirelessly. iOS 6 screwed all that up. Ever since it was released, the feature has been broken for countless users, meaning that every time we wish to sync our media libraries, we have to plug our iPhones back into the computer. How has this issue not been fixed yet?

Seriously Apple, what gives?

I had this issue from the get go! It never worked properly in iOS 5, and once iOS 6 came out it was more reliable but still unsteady.

But now it works perfectly for me every night I sync, no more router power cycles needed! I'm not sure if it was an incremental iOS 6 update but it just works!

Sorry I can't be of much help. I too was once as frustrated as you! https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1464552/
