I would say no right now unless you know all of the issues at hand and can get one for $250/$300. A new model is rumored to come out within the next few months, and these first gen models need some hardware upgrades. Battery life is acceptable, but processing power is UGH. Many features work just fine, but you get into almost any app and it can be sluggish, unreliable, etc.

I've gotten plenty of good use out of my Watch version. I love the health tracking features, and it reduces the amount of times I look at my phone because of notifications. It also helps me keep up with my schedule and slightly helps me keep up with the damn weather. But with another hardware update coming soon? WAIT.

I did an experiment a few weeks ago. Went without it for a few days. It was a bit harder than I thought. I think I could definitely give it up if I had to though.
