I don't recommend Chrome - my experiences have been mediocre at best. I'm a die-hard Safari user anyway (although I use Opera sometimes on my iOS devices). 😎
I use Chrome for almost everything except for looking at photography online. Chrome doesn't support embedded ICC profiles, so it makes a lot of images look really washed out. Safari supports ICC, but it's dog slow and an incredible resource hog..
Firefox or Safari; I used Safari maybe, 4 times? Chrome is amazingly fast and minimalistic while Firefox has a lot of unique and powerful addons. Right now i'm using Chrome extensively and Firefox when something doesn't work right (rarely).
I prefer Safari. And now with Lion around the corner, there is no reason to even consider chrome in my case. Plus the the fact that its made by Google, just doesn't sit very well with me.
You have to be kidding me; really? Well I'm excited for Lion that much more. Question, since you used it, does the Resume feature where everything starts back up the way you left it work for all applications or only certain ones?
I use firefox mostly, but then I use a lot of VPN intranet for work, which the proxy doesn't like chrome, and TOR -like tools. I don't know if I trust Chrome, though I haven't really looked into it deeply.
I find safari is better. It has more keyboard shortcuts and the Dev. Preview in Lion is 10x faster than the old version. Come Lion, Safari will be much faster.
I use Safari mainly for ease of syncing bookmarks to my iPhone and iPad using Mobile Me. Chrome in OSX has seemed unstable to me, but I do use it at work where I run Windows.
I used to use Safari mainly, with Firefox for some problem sites (like my school's website). Now I only use Chrome, only problems I have had with it lately is printing, so I pop into Safari again for that sometimes.
