iPhone 14 Pro Is DI more intrusive than notch?

I love the DI. The Pro Max is tall enough that not being perfectly space efficient with the notch/cutout area doesn't much matter imo. I'll take that trade-off any day in exchange for the active statuses and discrete notifications.

Prefer DI over notch and I like its animations, hate the name though, although for the life of me I cant think what you would call it, digital spot that sounds like some nasty illness from being online to much, Digital cutout sounds like something a TV has to turn it, Pixel Island sounds like a place for old Google phones go to die, so I really cant think what to call it and I bet Apple had a ton of names that sounded worse than mine. Oh hang on how about Dynamic suppository?

It’s the best use of a notch on any phone, it’s quite brilliant now

It’s definitely more intrusive but also more useful. The slight tradeoffs in height loss is worth it in my opinion

No, you don’t really notice it as it sits at the top in the space that’s not used for anything
