Some of the great Christmas quotes of all time:

-Everytime a bell rings an angel gets their wings.

-Oh, Christmas isn't just a day, it's a frame of mind...

-******* was full

-You should have heard your brother squeal when I broke his ****ing neck.

:D Now I'm in the spirit!

I think we all know Die Hard was just a case of Workplace Violence™. It has nothing and everything to do with Christmas.

The German Terrorists are actually a group of converts to Islam who wanted to kill everyone at Nakatomi Plaza because they were upset about the Christmas party talking place and because there was no Ramadan party that year. This attack is perpetuated by the fact that some of the employees laughed at Hans Gruber's (the lead terrorist) beard. Hans and his crew were actually Syrian and were the children of Syrian refugees from who would have never been here if it weren't for that spineless Democrat named Clinton who let them in in 1993!

The drilling of the bank vault is actually a metaphor for the Christian backbone of America that is being infiltrated and compromised by non-Christian influence. The Japanese Nakatomi company, targeted for its greed, actually represents America but is changed to Japan because who likes the Japanese anyways? Powell, the black police officer, represents both police and black gun violence in America after killing whoever at the very end.

The phrase "Yippi Ki Yay Mother F'er" is actually the Shahada (لا إله إلا الله محمد رسول الله) said backwards. Mel Gibson's ethnocentrism and poor education blinds him from the fact that Arabic is read in the opposite direction than English. He says "Y.K.Y.M.F." thinking he reading it correctly and is mocking the Shahada. When told this, Mel Gibson claims he said it backwards to "undo" the work of Islamic Terrorism- much like a undoing of spell in witchcraft... and then continues with an anti-Semitic diatribe. The story told through the movie is actually skewed to ignore the central plot of Islamic terrorism due to the liberal media and Hollywood defending Muslim extremists and Jihad, who were clearly influenced by radical teachings of left-wing public school teachers, primarily in Virginia.

Sorry... I haven't had nearly enough sleep lately. This is all nonsense FYI for those lacking a sense of nonsense. :D

"Ho ho ho, now I have a gun"- Sounds Christmasy to me. ;) :p
"Now I have a machine gun" ;)
I call it a Christmas film. There's a nice message to it, the whole family can enjoy it, it's got a nice party atmosphere. I think the second film is less of a Christmas film, though. And by the 4th film it might as well just be the 4th of July or something.

Well true to my word, I watched it with the family on Christmas Day — as did a few of my other friends. Such a great great film. Quotable throughout, festive, funny, and action packed.

Hope you all had a good Christmas. :)

Thanks for the correction! A nice message: being a bad boy sends you out the 20th floor window. Lol. Imo, REAL Christmas movies have something to do with Christmas not just happen in Dec, with a Christmas tree in the background. Examples: It's a Wonderful Life, A Christmas Carroll, Miracle on 34th Street (Santa), Scrooged, The Santa Clause, the qualifier is an uplifting message for humanity with spiritual or Kris Kringle (Santa Claus) overtones, which by the way according to a link is a name only used in the U.S.?

However, I've noted on a Google search for Christmas Movie, and I'll reluctantly agree the only qualifier appears to be the a story with Christmas prominently on display possibly, featuring people celebrating Christmas, even if they they are killing each other Die Hard. :D As a rule, I'll propose that a film featuring people murdering people just because it's in Dec without any spiritual or goodness qualifiers should disqualify it as a Christmas movie. One of my favorites kinda Christmas movies is Home Alone.
