Is February 2nd the day for MBP

Other than that, almost everybody agrees that it is time for an upgrade and that it will come soon, given the above mentioned guide, this month seems likely. That's what most people know and if anybody actually knows 100% when this will happen, they haven't posted it here.

that could be the same one, but i swear it showed something else. If people need a laptop so bad, go buy one. You have like 14 days to return it. (given it is released within that time period). If people who are wanting one, but can't wait, what do you use your mBP for? Do you REALLY NEED the fastest computer, or do you just want it? My MBP 2.5GHZ handles AE just fine, and renders it without any hiccups. Not to say there are faster MBPs out there..

Every Tuesday for the next while is a possibility for a MBP refresh. I doubt it'll be this Tuesday though, it's too soon after the iPad announcement.

I have a feeling we will see the new macbook pros after Feb 5th. This is because the ati 5830 was delayed to this day. It was originally supposed to be released the day the ipad was annouced but was put to delay that same morning. The supposed same morning that macbook pros were apparently pulled from the presentation. This is all assuming the new macbook pros use the 5830 in the first place. What do you guys think?
