I have had invisible shields on my original iphone, my 3gs and now my i4. My newest i4 front and back skin appears to have much less "orange peel" effect compared to my 3gs skin. They are practically rip proof.

I have also had power support crystal films on my original iphone and my 3gs. they are static cling attached which is much easier to apply and remove and fix if screwed up. they are crystal clear and are very protective.

I would fully recommend either, but went with invisible shield for my i4 because I had a 30% off coupon. If you go to their site and sign-up for their mailing list, they instantly email you a coupon for at least 20%, I got lucky and got the 30% coupon. Delivered in under a week.

Both should last the life of your use.

I used the zagg full body (not maximum protection), and have a bumper on order that will be here next week. The invisible shield is def worth it, and it took all of about 5 mins to install (I had alot of practice between my girlfriends and my iPad)

Zagg is crap! Save your money with another brand.......almost any brand!

invisibleShield woes!

I'm in a bit of a dilemma... I picked up the invisibleShield maximum protection today (though I am only intending on using the front/back shields - I have a bumper for the sides). Anyway, I have installed the film on the back and am somewhat happy with the outcome! (the 'orange peel' effect is not something that bothers me too much) I plan on re-selling in a year or so, which is why I am being so anal about the whole thing.

Now i'm sitting here wondering what to do about the screen - I've heard people say you'd be ruining the screen by using an invisibleShield (or any shield) on it, can anyone confirm any difference in the clarity/sharpness of the screen? I've used invisibleShields on my 3G and not noticed a difference, but i'm more bothered about this one with the retina display. I'm tempted by the power support crystal, but with it only being in pre-order atm (and me being in the UK) what do I do until then? install the shield, or go naked? I've heard a few reports on here about screen scratching which has got me worried.

Final note - I'm sure I read earlier that the front and the back glass are not both of the same strength. It's true there are more reports of scratches on the back glass; is the screen glass considered stronger/more scratch resistant?

The invisible shield from ZAGG is TERRIBAD. I bought three and hate myself for it. Put it on easily with no trouble. But it looks like my dogs ass, if my dogs ass was an clear orange.

Seriously. I ripped it off the second i saw the light reflect off of it. Im going ghost armor. The replace free within 30 or 60 days and I hear they replace for just the cost of installation.

Oh, plus it doesnt look like rubber dung.
