nope, 4.0 was different due to Game Center. The whole point of GM coming out prior to public launch is a last phase of bug testing, thus why Game Center got pulled, as it obviously wasn't ready for public use.

I don't think they ever intended on releasing Game Center with 4.0. Plus, it was announced when iOS 4 was originally announced and detailed at the April 2010 event and not when iOS 4 went into GM.

Game Center was announced as part of 4.0, it was in all the betas, clearly intended to be with 4.0. If it was not meant to be part of 4.0, they would not have announced it then and left it til later.

it's a system wide thing, not just the keyboard. it's got to be able to run at anytime wherever you are, plus there's the whole speech recognition itself, which is a big thing.
