To be honest... if this is it, I think Apple is kind of loosing their elegance. That looks very bulky and detailed. Not curved, even and simple, which used to be the Apple design criteria.

This is not the new design, absolutely not. Do you think Johnny Ive would let it get away with horizontal lines at odd places with no purpose of function? It's just a prototype.

I´m a rich ass man. I just got a job, and I actually shower in money.
Money is just as common to me as water. And sometimes I get too much of it, so throwing **** away is like peeing for me.

In that case, get a 4S now, throw it away in September, then buy a the new iPhone. That's your battery problem solved, and apple share holders will be happy… :)

I know right? There are too many lines everywhere. But even Steve Jobs said this about the first iPhone 4, with the antennagates "THIS DOESN´T SEEM LIKE APPLE RIGHT?"

And if those pictures are real, they are putting even more obscuring details into the design.

Finally a design comment btw. I just really feel there are signs at Apple now that the pressure is not as high on simplicity and core values, as it was when Jobs was allive.

Hey, I didnt become rich by pleasing shareholders. I got rich by being shellfish.

I suddenly don't feel like such a phone whore anymore hahahah! Thanks for that.

I do love the iPhone, my problem is that I get bored easy, so I think android will be fun, then I hate it.

Also, just because you're rich doesn't mean other people are and throwing away a perfect good phone instead of selling it or giving it to someone who needs one is both silly and sad.

Then your solution is simple: Throw your phone away, buy a 4S, throw it away, then buy the new iphone when it comes out.

When you are a rich ass man, you dont care about morals, and dont get sad either.

Then why are you still using a 3GS? Typical internet commando. Try life outside your moms basement.

I'm in a similar position and I'm thinking of buying a cheap Android phone as a temp replacement.
As soon as iPhone 5 is announced, iPhone4 and s will get soo much cheaper, if the naming is anything to go by 4s should give you similar longevity as 3gs gives to many of us

No one will know until Tim unveils it.
Tim Cook rarely does big announcements. Phil Shiller announced the iPhone 3GS (when Steve Jobs was absent). He announced the iPhone 4S. He announced the third generation iPad. I bet he will announce the sixth generation iPhone as well.

Cool story bro.

I was speaking colloquially. As in, no one will know what the sixth generation iPhone will look like until Apple (or whoever it may be) announces so.
