Is iPhone 6 Gold really that unpopular?

Google search "gold is tacky"... almost all of the front page results are about the Gold iPhone.

How do you view that? When I go to order the 64gb gold iPhone 6 it says this:

That's why they called it "space" gray. Space is exciting. Notice how neither of the other colour options have such qualifiers.

Anyway ordered a gold 6 here. From pictures I actually think it looks better than the gold 5S. (Which I thought was cool too; but I'm not on the S-cycle so my iPhone 5 is silver.)

You do not select the specific time, just the date. I've heard you have 24hrs to pick it up, or until Sunday. Not sure which of those is correct.

I'm picking it up on Friday anyway, so same difference to me.

I guess so, but I don't get it. I think it looks really good. I love the gold color against the white bands. I still prefer the black screen though and black color in general so I got space gray. Wish they would've made a slate color

It may be the lighting in the pictures, but the gold looks a little rose gold to me. Especially since it looks best with the light pink leather case.

I like the gold. And when you buy a case it will cover it up anyway (unless you buy a clear case)
