The 2nd Gen Touch is pretty amazing. A few places are knocking down the price for the occasional holiday sale, or at least throwing in a gift card with purchase. A $299 16gb Touch is effectively $249 after a $50 gift card is subtracted. That's as good a price for 16gb you'll see on even lesser players. Samsung P2 16gb. Sony 16gb with bluetooth. I don't know anyone who bought a 2nd gen Touch and regrets it.
