I pulled my front one off, made a little slot for the ear speaker, cut the little flaps at the bottom off both sides, and put the front back on. I simply wet it both sides, wiped it clean with water and put it back on straight. Working just like a real protector for now

As others have stated. Yes it's safe, but it looks kinda nasty. Also, it covers the speaker on the front so you can barely hear people when you talk to people

I hear you.
My screen protectors just came in today that I ordered on ebay.
So I did the same as you, I like my iphone scratch free and looking nice too.

Yep when I got my iPhone I didn't take off the factory plastic until I got front and back protection which was the same day.

I just replaced the front one. I actually liked the back protector. I just cut the corner where the camera is, and that is it. It looks good and no bubbles.
Just waiting for the freaking case that I got from amazon. It looks cheap, but it will work for now.

I ordered this one too, but It is taking for ever. This is the one that I really want to use. I hope it won't get too dirty or yellow.
